How it fits into your company

People already use ChatGPT to turn a rough thought into a proposal, plan or explanation. Steer makes selected company sources and published guidance available in that conversation, scoped to the person asking. Employees can work in ChatGPT while owners maintain the context behind the answer.

What this can help with

  • Draft a proposal using the current service description and commercial approval rules.
  • Explain a documented process with links back to the original sources.
  • Prepare a team handover using the guidance published for that team.

Getting started

  1. A workspace administrator enables a custom Steer connection in a supported ChatGPT Business or Enterprise workspace.
  2. Each employee signs in to Steer and authorises their connection.
  3. Verify ordinary company questions, source citations and access boundaries before a wider rollout.

Scope and availability

  • Custom connection availability depends on your ChatGPT plan and administrator settings.
  • ChatGPT decides when to invoke connected tools. A connection does not guarantee every answer uses Steer or follows every rule.
  • Steer does not replace ChatGPT workspace administration or authorise access to unrelated native connections.
