Who is responsible
Steer operates this website and is responsible for the personal information collected through its waitlist. Contact waitlist@steercontext.com for privacy questions or to exercise your rights.
What we collect
When you apply, we collect your work email, company, role and company size. You may optionally describe your context problem and select tools you use. We record when you applied, the privacy-notice version, the application page and any campaign source supplied with the request.
For abuse prevention, we process a short-lived, keyed representation of your network address. We do not store the raw address in the application database. Our hosting providers may process technical connection information to operate and secure the service.
Why we use it
We use application information to consider your company for early access, respond to your request and communicate about your application. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating a requested business waitlist and protecting the service. We do not add you to unrelated marketing lists. You can ask us to stop contacting you or remove your application at any time.
Who processes it
The website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare hosting and database infrastructure. Application acknowledgements and internal notifications use Resend; replies and application notifications are received by our GoDaddy-provisioned mailbox provider. Service providers process information needed to provide these services. They may process data outside the UK; applicable provider contractual safeguards govern those transfers. We do not claim UK-only marketing-data residency.
Retention and access
We retain applications while considering and managing early access and review retained applications within 12 months of collection. We remove information that is no longer needed, subject to necessary security, legal or dispute records. Access to application review is restricted to the authorised Steer operator.
Cookies and measurement
The public marketing pages do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or session-replay tools. We may count page views, waitlist visits and accepted applications in aggregate without attaching those counts to your identity. Protected administrator sign-in uses authentication technology supplied by the hosting platform.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your information, and object to processing where applicable. Write to the address above; we may need to verify the request. If you are in the UK, you can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office. Other jurisdictions may provide additional rights.
Product information
This notice covers the marketing website and waitlist. Access to the Steer product, company source material and customer processing arrangements will be described separately during onboarding.

We will update this notice when our handling of information changes. The date at the top identifies the current version.
